It took my mom awhile to find a dress she liked but she finally found this one.

Here are so different photos. The one with me is my mom (lady in purple) and my grandmother (lady in blue). I also included one with my mom and brother so you could see my mom's whooe outfit.

Love love love all of these, and it's so great to see moms in dresses that aren't just typical "MOB" dresses. I love how all your moms have a unique sense of style and look so happy to be celebrating your big day with you! Keep em coming!

Sherry, thanks so much for these beautiful photos. Both my mom and I (and my MOH) are fair skinned. My MOH is wearing dusty rose (she's my only bridesmaid), and my FH and the two groomsmen are wearing navy. I really liked the idea of having my mom in a dress in soft/dusty pink colored color family (or at least a softer blue or purple) and his mom in navy or a darker blue or purple so that our photos would have more cohesion since our wedding parties are so small. My mom was super worried about a lighter pink color not being flattering on her, but I think your mom looks amazing in this blush dress and has a similar complexion, so it might help convince her!

Aww thank you. I fell in love with my moms dress before she even put it on but it worked out great for her (it was a very comfortable dress for her tomboy self) and it matched our main wedding color perfectly. My MIL wore a medium gray dress and it looked great too but navy would also be very pretty with the blush pink. Hopefully it shows her that even the pale folks can wear the blush color and it look great on them. You definitely want the mother of the bride to be comfortable and to love what she wears.

Absolutely. I'm not going to force her to wear a color she doesn't feel comfortable in, but I want her to be open to trying different dresses too. She just might fall in love with something she wasn't expecting to like at all.

Absolutely. This was not the dress my mom picked out for herself but I asked her to at least try it on and she loved it. My wedding dress was not anything close to what I wanted but once I put it on, wah-la!

Oh yes. While I agree that I really do like them all, this one is my fave. This is the one I used for my "mom" puzzle piece on my wall. Glad you can't see our faces because by the time we got to this picture, she was full on happy crying and I was hysterically laughing lol
