Should You Invite "cannot Attends" to Bridal Shower?

Found out that my cousin's family probably won't be attending my wedding because they have first communion the next day 4 hours away. If I get her "cannot attend" before shower invites go out, should I still include her on the invite list for the shower?

I would still invite them to the shower, they may be able to make it to that.

I think you should still invite them, even if they cannot go to your wedding. You still invited them to your wedding so it isn't like you are inviting someone who wasn't invited. Plus you don't want someone to feel left out if everyone else in your family got an invitation but them.

I would still invite the family to the shower since they may be able to come to that! There are a few people who won't be able to come to my wedding, but they're coming to one of my showers this weekend.

Yes, because you intended to invite your cousins to the wedding-plus, I’m sure your cousins would love to be a part of any celebration you have since they will miss your wedding.
