Short or Long Train?

How long is the train on your wedding dress?? Is your train long, sweeping, and dramatic? Or are you keeping it a little more dance-floor friendly? Is your train short or long? Are you keeping it on the shorter side? Photo by Katie Stoops Photography in Harrisonburg, VA Or letting it trail behind...

Long! I always loved long trains so I was excited to find a dress that had a longer train!

Long! I love the look of a long train as a bride walks down the aisle! I will definitely bustle it for the reception though!

Short! For my ladies wanting a long train but worried about dancing, your seamstress will do a bustle for you and teach you how so your long train becomes shorter for dancing! Personally, i dont like the train look, or the way bustles look, so i just want a short train!

It's a wee bit on the longer side☺. I'm ordering a slightly "smaller than average" cathedral veil for it, too. It's going to be several inches past the train of my dress but nothing too dramatic.

I thought I didn’t want a train, but after trying on dresses I fell in love with the cathedral length train and veil! The seamstress I use is also amazing and when she bustles the train you can’t even tell it’s there!

I love my long train!! I will be changing into a reception dress to dance in though. My train is so beautiful I don't even want to bustle it. We'll do the first dances and cake cutting in my long dress, then I'll change. My 2nd dress will be made from traditional Ghanaian fabric as well. I'm so excited!
