Short curly hair for wedding? Ideas?

So, I've had a doozy of a year. I have a condition that made me lose more than half of my hair. Luckily, with the help of a fantastic dermatologist, I've been able to grow it back. Thing is, I've always dreamed of having long curly hair and doing a messy updo for the wedding. My hair is naturally VERY curly, and it's how I love wearing it--I can't imagine ever straightening it, especially after everything I went through. Unfortunately, it just won't be that long by my wedding in July...does anyone have really curly short hair? What are you thinking of doing for your wedding?

Could you try extensions? If not I found this hairstyle on pinterest, not sure how short your hair is but pinterest has been my go to for all things wedding related, maybe it can be helpful to you as well!

Oh, I really like that look! My hair is shorter than that picture though...I've found some things on Pinterest that could work, but just wondering what others have done. One idea I have is to just embrace the short hair. Another is definitely to get extensions--I have a great wigmaker who also sells extensions, so I could go that route. Either way, I bought a halo that I want to wear.

I have curly shoulder length hair and thought about wearing it natural for awhile for the wedding but i just reinforced the curls with an iron and some hair spray and wore a flower crown! you’ll be beautiful!

Regardless if you decide to embrace your natural hair or zhuzh it up with some extensions, it's all about you feeling comfortable, confident and beautiful on your wedding. You do what you want to do
