Short bride with taller bridal party??

I am short! 4'11" and with my wedding heels I will be around 5'3" to 5'4". All 6 of my BMs are at least 2 inches taller than me. Since they will be wearing floor length dresses I don't care what shoes they wear as long as it's nude/beige colored. Will our photos look weird? I don't want pics of everyone squatting or bending down to my height. I totally embrace my height but I'm a tad envious of seeing all these bridal party photos that look so uniform and even...

I'm 5'2", I have one bridesmaid that is my height, and the other two girls are over 5'9". They asked me what shoes I wanted them in, I said nude, low-heels, whatever they are comfortable with. I only said low-heel because the ceremony will be in the grass. I've been the short girl of the group the entire time we've been friends, it is what it is. Contrary to what pinterest and the wedding industry wants us to believe, brides do not have to transform themselves into models ready for the red carpet to be beautiful. You will be beautiful because it's your wedding day, and no one is going to notice or care that you're shorter than your bridesmaids.

I've been worried about the same thing. I'm about 5'2" and hate wearing heels. One of my bridesmaids is 4'11", another is 5'6", and my MOH is 5'11". I don't think my MOH will have any qualms about wearing flats.

Who cares? The picture I'm most wanting is me , almost 5'2, FH 5'10", my son, 6', his son 6'3 and his daughter 5'8". There's no way around it; I'm little and am in every picture. And we always look adorable. Lol

So what! Have them wear flats and rock your shortness! Also tell them you dont want them squatting in your pictures. Also maybe possibly take sone photos where your on sone steps and them below you so you get one where you are taller or the same height

Huh. Didn't even think about this...I'm an average height but my wedding party is full of a bunch of giants on both sides (I'm marrying a Dutchman). Oh well.

I have the exact opposite of this problem! I am almost 5'9" and all my bridesmaids are 5'1" or less. They keep telling me I have a "Snow White Complex". I don't think the photos will look weird, especially if you have a good photographer. The pictures should really just show you and your great friends.

Thanks for all the good advice! I'm not that worried about it (I've always been the shortest one in my family and friends) and I definitely don't want to tell my BM to wear a specific type of shoe. The girls' dresses are coming in and they have been asking me about shoes in regards to dress hemming. Many of them asked about flats in consideration of me. But it's not necessary, imo. I will rock my height
