Shop revelry bridesmaid dress feedback?

Hey everyone! I’m on a search for a certain dark rust color bridesmaid dress for my wedding. David’s bridal just got a new designer line with the color I like but the dresses won’t be in until two weeks before the wedding. 😟 I found a dark rust color on revelry. I’m wondering if anyone has ordered from there, what was your experience like?

    My bridesmaids ordered the sequin Bardot bridesmaids dresses from Revelry and we all love them. They did the Home Try-On last year and just ordered them for my October wedding. Their response time is great, they’re informative on their website and the dresses are so cute! I hope this helps.

    Well congratulations! Thank you! I’ve been waiting for my swatches to come in and I haven’t received them yet. I’m hoping they get here today. I’m concerned about the timing/ shipping of the dresses. We’re getting married the end of October too, I just hope the dresses get here in time since my girls still have to try some on.

    I would hurry to do them this month to have the dresses in time just in case you need alterations. My MOH said her dress shipped in two months and it took 3 days from there to make it to her. Reach out to them about your swatches and mention the dresses to see if they can give you a timeline so you can pass it along to your bridesmaids. I hope it all works out. Congrats to you too!

    Thank you! I called them yesterday and they told me they didn’t have tracking, to let them know if I don’t get the within two weeks. I’m afraid if the swatches take this long, god knows how long the dresses will take. Also, I noticed my girls can’t choose the color of their try on dresses?

    No, they typically just send the try-on dresses in rose gold sequin. My bridesmaids ended up going with matte rose gold and champagne gold and we had to get swatches to see what the colors would actually look like in person. My swatches took a little while but my bridesmaids have all ordered and say it seems to be on schedule but I'm not sure. It might be cutting it close for your ladies.

    DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
    They are a total scam.
    I am in Canada and my friend who is getting married ordered a bunch of fabric swatches from Revelry ($80 worth) and then when she tried to order the sample dresses for home try-on, they told her that they don't offer home try-on in Canada. Our question is why did you take her $80 for swatches then?!?! Since then, they keep leaving her on hold indefinitely and they shut off their phone lines to have calls directed to their voice-mail if she calls back. I just saw another bride commenting on their Facebook page saying that she has been waiting 2 months for her dress to arrive after paying the rush shipping and they are no longer answering her calls either. They also keep removing her comments where she is asking for answers. This company is a complete joke! Steer clear of this company.

    My experience has been completely AWFUL with Revelry. Like I can not stress how disgusting their customer service is. I ordered $80 worth of swatches for my 7 bridesmaids a couple months ago. Their website home try on page lists how easy to is to do the home option which includes four steps starting with picking the swatches you like and then ordering dresses from the home try on. Cool. So I ordered my swatches and my bridesmaids spent HOURS, DAYS, WEEKS going through all the materials, styles and colours to pick 3 home try on options that I would purchase for them as the bride. Come to find out from msging REVELRY on Instagram that they actually “don’t do international try-ons”. I said are you kidding? I’m Canadian and I ordered my swatches and you took my money and sent them to Toronto, Canada no problem!? No response from them. So I called their number. I waited on hold for over 20 minutes until I finally got someone on the phone and explained the situation. She tried to justify as “some people just like the swatches for the look and feel of material” which is why they still ship swatches international but not home try ons. I asked her if she would personally buy a dress without having the option to try it on. The revelry consultant replied “no, I wouldn’t”. With that, she put me on hold saying she was going to process this for me (a refund for the swatches) and LEFT ME ON THE PHONE FOR 46 MINUTES. AND THEN THE LINE JUST CUT OFF. I was absolutely flabbergasted at how this company just disrespected my time.


    *2 weeks later* I have messaged revelry on IG, with no response. I have texted them with the number they give on their voicemail and no response. I call every day Monday-Friday for 2 weeks and most time I waited on hold for 15 minutes before they just disconnected the call, or it went straight to voicemail. I left 3 voicemails with my name and number. Never got a call.
    Finally today I called and got a hold of a woman after waiting on hold for 18 minutes. I explained my story and she was like wow I’m sorry to hear that, let me put you on hold to fix this. I said “please don’t, I’d like you to fix it with me on the phone because the other lady left me on hold for 46 minutes and never returned. She said no don’t worry, I have to put you on hold but I promise to come back. I said fine. *35 MINUTES LATER* she comes back. My entire phone call at this point with them is 54 minutes. She very curtly responds, “sorry about that, spoke to the warehouse manager, they stated it’s in our FAQ section that we don’t do international home try ons so you won’t get a refund. I asked to speak to this manager (named Rebecca) and she refused to give me her number or extension but stated she would call back today by 5pm. Warehouse Manager Rebecca never called. (Shocker).
    Not anywhere on their Instagram does it say they don’t ship home try ons internationally. Not anywhere on their “home try-on highlight reel” on Instagram does it say they don’t ship internationally. Not anywhere on the confirmation email I received for my swatches did it say “BTW we don’t ship home try ons internationally”So I looked up this FAQ page. There is no FAQ tab on the left hand corner like every single website usually has with the 3 lines. Drop down menu does not include “FAQ”. To my dismay, I realized you have to scroll ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM of their website (which is long) and click on “community”(??????) where there’s a teeny tiny tab that says FAQ and then even tinier font that says they don’t ship internationally.
    This was a complete awful treatment of their customer and a total money grab. They made it sound so easy on their website with the “4 easy steps” to getting your home try on and swatches. I argued that if it didn’t say anything there, and you shipped and took my money for the swatches to Canada with ease, why would your customers even THINK to go to the FAQ page more more info? I absolutely would give them ZERO stars and have already spread the word about them immensely about how rude, inconsiderate, amateur and unprofessional this company is.
    Also, my bridesmaids have also left reviews similar to this and Revelry has actually DELETED them. So Revelry, I will be leaving google reviews and reviews on The Knot as well, where you cannot delete. And if this is deleted, I will make sure to screenshot this to show others that you delete bad reviews to scam others.
    Pls PLS don’t buy from them!RA.

    DONT DO IT! They mean well but they cannot deliver. $185 plus a ton of alterations IF they ever arrive. The company’s communication is abysmal at best. Still trying to get my money back for orders that never delivered and are listed as “still in production” on my account. No responses. We are furious. The try on fiasco hasn’t gotten better. Dresses aren’t available, they are always “sold out” and if you are able to snag one at all it has to be 8 sizes too big. Cute dresses- definitely NOT worth the hassle. For this price tag you should head to Bella bridesmaids.

    No issues as far as I know except their delivery date was pushed back a day. Sizes were correct, minor alterations which they got from local seamstresses. I wouldn’t recommend their alterations only because their shipping is so delayed as is due to Covid but outside of that, no issues.

    AVOID THIS COMPANY IF POSSIBLE. I ignored a lot of their negative reviews as I ordered in May for a wedding at the tail end of August. At that time it was a 10 weeks production time and that would've allowed for at least 2 weeks for shipping in case something happened. Well fast forward to last week, I had no updates on my dress and it was listed as still "In Production". I emailed them Friday and didn't hear anything from them for 5 days. It wasn't until my own mother contacted the company and continued to try to contact them all day did we get a response. My dress had been "delayed" due to a satin shortage, but I had ordered well before that announcement went out and they also stated they would advise all effected orders. But as you can guess it, they didn't. Customer service emailed me this morning saying the same information they gave my mom and even tried to get me to choose a different dress in case they had it in stock. When I said no and that I wanted a refund, they proceeded to MAGICALLY find the exact dress I had ordered from a "cancelled" wedding and would be shipping it out to me. I emailed back immediately and denied the dress and demanded a refund, but have yet to hear back from them again even though they were responding to my emails every 15 minutes or so. I'm beyond frustrated with this brand and being honest the quality of the dresses are subpar for how expensive they are. You can find similar if not identical styles of dresses from other sellers and they'll be CHEAPER, BETTER MADE and will actually get to you on time. I had to order a different dress and pay extra for expedited shipping because of this company so I feel like they should be compensating me for that as well. But since they've neglected to respond again I will be reporting them to the BBB, leaving negative reviews ANYWHERE I can and reporting them to my bank for theft. I also advised them in my last email of this and if anything is shipped out to me it will be rejected and immediately sent back. I don't even want to wear a dress from such a sham of a company.

    Save yourself the headache and go with a different company. this company might be legit but they operate like a scam. They do not give refunds even when they are in the wrong and it is impossible to reach anyone via customer service. They do not deliver on time and will not update you if there is a delay! Save $20 on a bridesmaid dress is not worth the extra worry. Best of luck!

    Revelry is horrible. Dresses take forever to arrive and they never have try-on in stock. I don't know how this company still operates. The dresses are also extremely over priced. My dress for my sisters wedding to 10 weeks to arrive, and it arrived damaged/torn. They then offered to have a new dress made with a 3 week turn around time. I contacted them at the 4 week mark because I had not received anything yet and they told me the dress has not even made it to production yet. From there my options were chose a completely different dress in a sample they had available, get back on the list for a remake which would supposedly take another 3 weeks, or take a refund. I opted just for the refund since the wedding is in 1 month. This place is a scam. Use Azazi or Baltic Born!

    I had a great experience with Revelry! All of my girls dresses are amazing. They all arrived on time, some even arrived early! I can't wait for them to wear them in my wedding. I don't know about everyone else, but I seem to have had a very different experience! Their customer service was also very responsive and helped me solve any and every issue that popped up! All of the dresses are final sale, so we did the home try on process and that was a blast as well! I loved being able to get all of my girls together and see what the dresses would look like together.

    Hey everyone! So after tons of reviews, I ended up going with revelry; especially they were the only ones with the color dress I wanted. They were behind on shipping satin dresses after my girls had purchased theirs. I ended up getting their new “rust” color. I called them and expressed my worry with shipping delays and how I just missed the cut off, with what orders might get delayed. They were nice enough to give me expedited shipping on my dresses. I’ll be honest, every time i called they were very sweet. I always requested a followed up email with what was discussed so I can get it in writing, and they did such. Some of the dresses came in a little weird with the tailoring or stains from shipment. I reached out and they reimbursed us for any changes that were made by a seamstress/ cleaning service. Although, things weren’t smooth, they did make sure to get them right. I’m very happy with the service they provided.

    I do NOT recommend purchasing dresses from here.

    The fabric is very poor-quality – my dress snagged and ripped in two places within 15 minutes of wearing it (and I was being very careful as their website instructs). The other bridesmaids in my group all had issues – two of the dresses tore at the zippers and another slit completely tore.

    Awful. Just awful. I ordered a bridesmaid dress based on my measurements it came two months later and could NOT fit into it despite my measurements being the same listed on the site. The dresses are cut weird and unless you have no fat on your body, beware. They said not returns and I was not able to swap for a new size, instead I had to buy an entirely new dress (which was another $200). The best they could do along with the new dress and new price is offer 8 week production time which would still not get me my dress in time… So basically I’m now stuck with 2 dresses that don’t fit ($200 each) and a $50 extra 8 week production fee… they won’t cancel the order and now I’m panicking since the wedding is coming up. I ended up going to a different seamstress in my city to let out the original smaller dress which will cost another $500 (they have to add a corset to the back to open it up). I’ve literally cried over this whole situation every night for the last 3 weeks. Would never recommend this company to anyone ever. Beware. Go get a dress at a place that doesn’t take 3 months to make that doesn’t even fit and doesn’t allow returns. That’s all. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
