Shared weddings?

I have never been to one, but given the price of *just* the venue, I would certainly do it with good friends. You could save on venue, linens, centerpieces, DJ.... quite a bundle!

I have seen this with a pair of sisters. That was cute...any other couple sharing would be really odd to me.

Sure, I have heard of double weddings, usually sisters. But I don't think I would have ever done it. Hard to say though because I don't have any sisters!

I have never been to one but I saw on TV once in like South Korea there are mass wedding, like thousands couples came together to get married at the same time. The pictures are very interesting.

OP - now I am curious why you are asking? Are you considering this?

Seen it on FB. Confused by it. Only know one person, and not well at all. Not related, no idea why they had a double wedding, no idea why anyone would consider this a good idea?

I've never actually seen it, but I've heard of it. I think it's a disaster waiting to happen. Wedding planning is hard enough satisfying the bride and groom. Can you imagine doing planning with FOUR different opinions?? No thank you!

We got approached by a casting director about the idea. I'm wondering if we should do it or not. I kinda DGAF about the wedding right now. I just want to be married. And they'd pay 25k.

Even still, it's kinda a crazy idea.

I knew these guys from college that are identical twins, and then had a double wedding where they got married to identical twins. And then they both had kids asap. I can not make up this story.

I dunno. My best friend is engaged so that would be the ONLY person I would do it with. But it would be way sooner than either of us were thinking of and I'm kinda thinking I'm crazy for even thinking about it.

Wait they would pay YOU 25k or pay 25k for your wedding? I would do it. Thats like over 5x's my budget. Then again my wedding isnt that important to me. I just want to be married and go on my honeymoon!

No way. I'm pissed my sister decided to get married in the same year as me, there's no way I could share the stage with her!!!

How this originally came up was about them just offering $25k for a wedding. They didn't mention that it was shared until you're super far into the convo with them.
