Sex (because everyone wanted to talk about it anyway!) lol

Honestly, in our relationship, we are very open with Sex. I am Christian and he is non-religious, but we are still very much into having sex. What about everyone else? Anyone waiting for their wedding night?

Lynzey – ahhh I didn’t even realize the similarity between our names now. I’ve been playing around with a new screen name. I’m all paranoid about someone finding me on here and reading all the personal stuff I posted, haha. Everyone calls me and spells my name “Lynz” in real life…

We're both virgins and decided on our first date we would wait until the wedding night. Yes, it's hard but it's for religious reasons for us. 5 more months!!, pretty sure he's only Counting down to the wedding NIGHT, not the wedding. Lol

Kudos to those who are waiting. Sex is sacredly reserved for husband and wife, or should be.

Having tried it both ways in life, first without knowning any better, let me say that waiting provides a WORLD of difference on the wedding night. It's the discovery of one another and not "eh, just another night."

We want to wait but we'll see... & we've both been married before so we're not virgins by any stretch of the imagination...

I made FH wait about 6 weeks into our relationship - but mostly only because I had JUST started a new bc pill and was having some major issues with it.

The sad part is that we should be jumping each other every night but between our work schedules (especially his, he works crazy amounts of hours) - we don't get it on as often as we would like. But we are super affectionate and cuddly ALL the time.

I can't imagine waiting until marriage to actually have sex with someone for the first time. You gotta know what you're getting in to! Smiley smile

My DH was actually a virgin when we met, but tossed that card in about 5 weeks into our relationship.

We did not go on any hiatus before the wedding. Didn't see the point. For us, like others have mentioned, sex is a huge stress reliever and the week or so leading up to the wedding was pretty stressful.

We also have a healthy sex life, though sometimes it goes in ups and downs with a bunch of it in a like 2 days, then nothing for 5-7 days.

Well, we started dating when we were 16 so for quite a few years I felt WAY too young and told him no for a long time.

Started sometime in college after being together for a number of years and pretty much realizing I wanted to be with him for a long time. We had "the talk" and everything before-hand so I knew we were mature enough to handle anything that might happen.

Two of my friends agreed not to have sex for a few months before the wedding, so that there was a certain anticipation on the wedding night. Well pretty much, their ceremony started at 4, reception at 6, they were out of that building by 8:30.

    LOL

I was the one that told him it was time...like 2 weeks in. Whoops! I wasn't really sure it was going to be a serious relationship at first, either. I'd JUST gotten out of a long relationship that ended poorly when we got together.

I still want it more often than he does. I've gone weeks waiting for him to make a move (as an experiment).
