Sarah, my neice is helping save a ton of money on invites by getting a digital download from etsy. I always thought her child party, baby shower invites were adorable so i asked how she did them. Etsy is her secret! Some offer to print for you, but others are a digital customizeable download you can take to any printing place. There are thousands to choose from so be prepared to be a bit overwhelmed at first!

Hi Twins! I’m starting to feel the stress tbh! So far we have venue, dj, photographer, caterer, decorator, my dress, our rings, and invitations. Save the Dates went out around the holidays. Instead of cake, we’re doing a donut peg board. We need to plan our honeymoon yet. Is there anything I’m forgetting? Besides almost everything 😂😂

Hi guys! We’re almost under the 200
day mark! 😮😊 We have our venue, caterer, cake, hair/makeup, and photographer booked. I have my dress and we’ve purchased our wedding bands. We have invitations picked out, but we still need to order. We still need a DJ and officiant as well, and need to start thinking about decorations.

So many people getting married that day! 200 days to go! We got engaged 12/20/2018. Venue is booked along with photographer, officiant and dj. My dress came in yesterday and all my bridesmaids settled on the dress they’ll be wearing but only 2 of the 5 were able to place their order so far. Still need to narrow down a guest list and find a caterer, florist and a million other little things. It’s nice seeing what people have figured out so far. It’s figuring out how we’re gonna pay for everything that is stressing me out the most!

Oh girl, I WISH This was the case. I have a VERY opinionated FH!! Smiley laugh ....who doesn't want to do the research or the work....just wants to have an opinion on ALL THE THINGS. That said, I am so, so, so lucky to have him around for the process, big opinions and all.

Katelyn, we've got your back if you need help with decisions! I'm so sorry your FH is deployed for this!

Hi, date twins! Great job on checking SO many items off of your to-do lists!!

We got married the weekend after Thanksgiving and have managed to lock down the venue, color scheme, caterer, my dresses (oops), baker (we have a cake designed but haven't formally placed the order), and photographer. We send Save the Dates last week.

In process: bridesmaids dresses - everyone is choosing their own, so I've gone to appointments with half of the girls and have the other half this week. Also working on finalizing a DJ contract, locking down the menu with the caterer, ordering/planning decor, groom/groomsmen/bridesman tuxes, reserving a hotel block, honeymoon, registry.

Need to lock down: florist(!), invitations, officiant, ceremony music. We live in Chicago but are getting married in Seattle, so our timelines have been a little wonky. I try to squeeze as many in-person meetings with vendors as I can manage when I'm in Seattle for work every six weeks, which means we meet with whatever vendor we can whenever we can. We did our cake tasting the morning before I tried on dresses. 🤦🏼‍♀️ All in all, feeling pretty happy and stress-free about our progress. As other ladies have mentioned, just remember to enjoy the process instead of rushing and stressing your way through it!

It feels like crunch time! Budgeting now to pay for everything. DJ BOOKED, CAKE, VENUE PHOTOGRAPHY all booked SAVE THE DATES getting ready to be sent out, flowers in the works bartenders booked. Caterer now that we have an estimate of the number of people we invited. I am going to my first dress fitting in April my girls are going to try on their dresses the end of March. It's been rough planning a wedding while working a full time job, sick with stage 2 kidney disease and now possibly having to have my gallbladder out thank goodness for helpful family and friends!!

    Hi wedding twins,

My name is Eulonda I got married 25 years ago on September 7th, I got married in a court house so now it is my time to see what being a bride feels like. I will be renewing my vows and having a reception to follow. I couldn't get a venue for my actual Anniversary so I decided to have a summer wedding August 3rd and my son will be able to attend because he plays football for NIU and camp will be starting the day before. I have my venue, Weeding planner, DJ, and caterer I have an appointment to look for a dress on March 2. So I need to find shoes as well and I will be done. Thanks for inviting me to share my information with you Beautiful Brides.

    Eulonda

September 7th Bride! We have our wonderful venue, decorations bought, dress and suit, photographer and D.J. We are still working on the cake and we get to taste our menu in a few weeks! We are still struggling hard with our guest list. I only want 130 guests, but it's looking more and more like 140+. THE GUEST LIST STRUGGLE IS REAL! Drama from friends and family is in full effect, the next few months will be interesting indeed.

I honestly didn't realize this was such a popular day or that this discussion would get so much attention! I am getting so excited. I worked on my DIY centerpieces and I almost have my bouquet finished. I love adding those personal touches. My FH is a truck driver so I have picked out the design for the groom cake as well. Things are moving along too smoothly.... I am getting worried. LOL. Good luck to all of you as you continue your planning.

Hello! 09/07/09 here! All of the big stuff is done... well w/the exception of the biggest thing of all, my gown. I know, I'm procrastinating because I don't know what I want just yet. All of the bridal party attire has been ordered. Just the small things to be done like favors, order escort cards, programs, menu cards, etc...
