I say 10-12 weeks before the wedding, since it falls on a long weekend.

I am getting married on september 2nd. We are mailing ours out June 15th and the RSVP is August 10th. We sent out STDs so people are already aware of the date.

I'd say the beginning of June - a little earlier than is typical given the holiday weekend!

We are date twins!!! I'm really glad you posted this, because we were planning end of June. Now I'm thinking we'll send them in the middle.

Have you sent Save the Dates? If not, I would ASAP or send invites ASAP. My fiance and I already have labor day plans reserved, so I assume other people to do.

    Sept 2 for us, too!

We are mailing ours out at the beginning of June. Our hotel block requires guests to book by July 2nd, and we need to make sure guests are able to take advantage of that opportunity. Because of the Labor Day weekend, and beach location of our wedding, we want to be very cognizant of the guests' need in terms of both travel and accommodations.

We are also down the shore but our guests have until July 31st to book. They also received STDs with our website so they have the information to book now if they want.

That was the first thing I put up on our website, too. They can book whenever they want, and their rooms are refundable. I'm pretty sure that room blocking was the hardest part of my search!

I'm sending mine out by the end of the month. We have a lot of family who live out of state so we sent out save the dates in February

We are getting married on Sept 2 and we send our invitations at the end of April but we also didn't send any save the dates. I think people typically plan their memorial day and July 4 plans before Labor Day but because it's a holiday weekend I would send them earlier, especially if you haven't sent STDs.

Our wedding is 9/29, and I'm thinking we will send them end of June or beginning of July with an RSVP date of 9/8 since nobody needs a headcount from us until one to two weeks before. I feel like most people will forget if I send them any sooner.
