Secret reception location

What happens if someone can't make it to your ceremony and only wants to come to the reception. I have an uncle that can't make the ceremony but is coming to the reception because of work. So what happens in that situation?

Jay, my guess is that OP wants to invite only certain people to the reception but still having many others fawn over her at the ceremony and this is a way to weed people out.

Why? Its pretty freaking weird. When do you plan to tell them where it is? How do you plan to tell them? Ok, let's say you put it on the program. What do you do with ppl that don't go to the ceremony? They don't know where the hell to go for the reception. Sounds like alot of no shows or RSVP no's. Do you have a where's Waldo theme or something?

Unless you're famous, which we all are pretty sure you're not, this is hella dumb. As an anxiety ridden planner I just wouldn't go
