Second guessing wedding dress

A lot of brides experience this at some point. Do you have picture? Maybe accessories will make you feel different or changing something.

There’s not much accessories I could do because of all the beading I just feel like the beading makes it look cheap and discolored the more I look at it. I’m not sure if it’s just buyers remorse and me seeing more dresses with lace. Oh man. Haha. Any help is appreciated! At least even knowing I’m not alone! Haha

You are NOT alone! I had a change of heart but also felt guilty wanting a different dress. I didn't say anything to anyone for a while and then when I realized I kept thinking about it every day I asked myself these questions while looking at the dress- "Is this the dress that I want to walk down the aisle in? Is this the dress I feel beautiful in? Is this the dress I am going to be proud of every time I look at my wedding photos, even 20 years from now or am I going to regret not getting another dress?" I finally spoke up and got a different dress. I was recently married on March 3rd and I am so happy that I got the dress of my dreams. The dress I can answer YES to all of the questions above. Do what makes YOU feel beautiful and Happy. You could always sell your dress that you already have. Tbere are a ton of dress websites. I got lucky and was able to get a store credit at the boutique I bought my first dress from.

This is a beautiful dress.. but if it’s not your WOW dress then buy another one. You can sell this one

The dress is amazing! I love the bead work. The buttons down the back make it so romantic. But at the end of the day you need to feel the wow factor

I think it looks great! The beading is amazing! I’ve adored my dresss until recently, thanks to a family member. I don’t know what to do. I may go down to the bridal salon and try it on again.

I love the dress! Please trust in your initial gut that drove you to purchase it in the first place. I am also having major dress regret. I'm so dissapointed in myself - why didn't I pick a long sleeve? I have huge arms, that was a mistake. I'm trying to remind myself that this is me - I need to love self and my decisions. You're not alone, and you look beautiful in your dress. As a bigger girl, the grass is always greener, and while you're doubting, I would trade. lol.

I can see why you feel it looks discoloured but keep in mind the lighting in the picture. Just imagine the beading in the sunlight! Beautiful it has a very romantic look to it and the back is georgous im a big fan of beading as well. Theres something about it that gives me a vintage vibe. I dont know how you're planning to wear your hair but a vintage glamour style will look beautiful with your dress and pull your look together.

This happened to me! It was about 6 weeks before my wedding and my alterations were coming out horrible. My dress is was in NJ and I was in NC so I couldn’t go for any more fittings. I felt the same way about spending more money and “throwing it down the drain,” but my husband said the same thing, I needed to be happy. Best decision I made! I wore the original dress for the ceremony, but could not wait to take it off. It was so uncomfortable. I actually had cuts around my neck when I took it off. Plus my new dress was everything I had wanted the first time around. I couldn’t stop looking at it. However, your dress is stunning and I don’t think it looks cheap or discolored at all.

I honestly hate the fact that we have to buy dresses so early. I'm horrible at making decisions. I still love my dress, but I just got it. I'm going to try to not thing of these things.

I'm in the same boat but for different reasons. I bought my dress back in September. Fell in love with it. But now today when I brought it to the seamstress she said if will be a challenge. I'm not sure what to do.

Your dress is gorgeous - and you look stunning in it! It's super flattering, as well. I am in the same boat as you - but I won't say anything as my dress was a gift from my mom - and there is a reason I chose it (tried it on at 2 different bridal stores .. wasn't an impulse decision.) Mine is lace, and I bring this up because you mentioned lace above, I keep seeing mikado and beaded gowns and wonder if I've made the wrong fabric choice, too. I think it's more of a "those other dresses are gorgeous" type thing .. but so is yours, and you went beaded for a reason!
