Save the dates? Where did you do yours? And how much did they cost? If you don't mind answering :)

Madelayna, on March 24, 2017 at 12:39 AM Posted in Planning 0 71

Hello Smiley smile just wondering where everyone did their save the dates and how much it came down to? I'm looking at about 125-150 guests and am trying to figure out a reasonable price. I'd love to have our pictures on them and the save the dates as magnets Smiley smile I was hoping to spend $150-$200. What did you do?

Try Etsy, they have things in that price range.

I ordered 100 STD from minted, had a $50 credit for using them for website and upgraded a lot of things (envelopes, pre-printed return address labels, added pic on back, etc) and paid $292.

ETA: not magnets, flat cards and with 4 pics

I used Vistaprint. They run deals all the time and have great options for different designs for save the dates, regular paper or magnets, and invites. Can even create your own layout/design. I didn't do magnets but I ordered my regular cardstock save the dates yesterday with 1 photo on it during one of their 50% off deals and got 100 (with envelopes) for $26 plus shipping & tax. I use them every year for Christmas photo cards and haven't been let down yet.

I did 90 postcards on Wedding Paper Divas with one of our engagement photos on it for $85 including shipping. They had a sale at the time, I don't remember how much of a discount it was though. Honestly I wasn't a huge fan of them but they served their purpose and were inexpensive. I'm splurging on the actual wedding invitations.

I made my own. We have 150 guests, but I made 90 save the dates for about $40. Completely worth it in my opinion and they have my personal touch Smiley smile

I ordered 75 STDs (same guest count as you, one per household) . Ours were from Wedding paper divas with the Groupon ($100 for $200 credit) . We ordered custom envelopes too and still came under the $200 credit.

I used groupon! Our guestlist is about the same as your. We ended up getting a great deal and paid around $60 for 140 STDs.

Remember that you're counting households not guests (I almost ordered way too many save the dates because of that oversight!). I did ours through shutterfly. There was a pretty awesome sale going on. I got 55 save the dates for $35-$40.

We are expecting about the same number of guests. I used wedding paper divas. I waited until there was a %40 off Sale and spent about 150 I believe for 110 of them.

I got ours from Walgreens. They aren't magnets, but we got 100 for $45. I ordered when they had a 50% off deal going on.

Vista print is amazing. I ordered way more than I needed LOL. I didn't properly count. Cause it's usually 1 per house hold not 1 per person. I got 80 for 23.00 with a coupon also they are amazing and the quality is great.

    Shopping legit took 4 days.

I used WeddingPaperDivas when there was a 40% sale. I ordered 30 STDs and it was like $50. Pretty expensive for the amount and the sale. We ordered magnets but also added the addressing to the envelopes.

I used Magnet Street because they had a 40% off and a template I liked. Upgraded to a larger size magnet (the regular size is pretty small!). Roughly $50 for 25.

    Really nice quality.

I was just looking on Groupon and they have a deal on STD cards. I also agree that Etsy, Vistaprint and Shutterfly are food as well.
