Save the dates- what did you do?

Debbie, on May 20, 2021 at 11:31 PM Posted in Planning 0 17
What did you all do for save the dates? My travel planner (destination wedding) keeps telling me about appy couple being a popular way to go. I was thinking an actual post card like or magnet. Is that outdated? What did you all do? Thanks!

We did magnets. I always prefer them as a guest to, since I can just stick it to my fridge. When they are cards, I put them on the fridge anyway.

We did both. The postcards were from Zazzle and the magnets from Etsy

My sister used appy couple and they seemed pretty happy with it.

We preferred the look of the card and envelope choices at greenvelope though, so that's what we've used, not only for STDs but also our invites. We're really happy with the service and what everything looks like so far, and the invite tracking has been pretty straight forward and easy too.

We sent magnets. I prefer them because your guests can stick them to their fridge and you don't have to worry if they lost it or forgot about the wedding.

Following as I'm also on the fence, but leaning towards magnets. They've always been my preferred method as I like to stick it on the fridge. There are some of my close friends still hanging there, even though their wedding has come and gone as it had a picture on it.

We ended up not doing STDs, but if we had we either would have done magnets or postcards. We liked the idea of magnets better, but with the tight budget we had postcards probably would have been a better option for us.

For our first wedding date, we did a postcard style, with several of our engagement photos on it. I loved how it turned out. But then Covid, and postponement, so the 2nd time we sent out STDs, we went with a magnet. Loved those!

And now, while that date is still happening, the location and everything about my wedding has changed. But that's ok, because I'm super happy!! And so excited to be getting married in 8 days!
