Save the dates advice needed!

I’m getting married in the same day and I’ve also been wondering this. We were originally supposed to use the engagement photos for the save the dates but unfortunately our session was indefinitely postponed. I was thinking about ordering them soon because we were told it may take longer to arrive than before the pandemic. I was thinking of sending them by early June to the far guests and some who need to plan ahead for arrangements but my parents have said they may think it will help to send by end of May to out of town guest and early June to all else.

I say the earlier the better so people can make arrangements I would send them out end of May or June I always appreciate knowing something in advance to make necessary arrangements! I sent my save the dates out 11 months in advance even though now I have to change everything but I’m going to send my changes out as quick as possible so people are aware.

Ours is 3/27/21 and I plan to get them out by first week of May! I know it seems early but we rather be early and sit on someone’s fridge for months than be too late!

I say send them!! You're right - with so many people rescheduling their celebrations I'd make sure your wedding is the first thing on your guests' calendars!
