How many are including pictures of yourselves on your save the dates? Is it common to do so?

We did this picture on the back. The front was just our names, the date, the city, and our website.

We are putting a small print in the std envelope. I was going to do std postcards, but it was only a few cents more for cards with envelopes. This allows a photo and personal note to anyone we want to include that for.

We put lots of photos on ours. We used our engagement photos and designed them ourselves.

The feedback so far has been very positive. Our friends think they are adorable and showcase us best.

We did but we just ordered the post card ones from zazzle. I got 100 for 40 dollars. It was worth it to me because it was the first wedding thing I did that helped it all feel real.

I don't know if it's common to do it, but it's definitely a nice touch to a save the date card! We didn't have a picture on ours.

I reeeeally want to do a Save the Date with our picture on it but based on the time crunch...I'm really not quite sure if that'll be possible. I feel like I have to send the Save the Dates out at LATEST June but I haven't even found a photographer yet...

Either way I think with or without a picture works! The people that matter already know how you look like haha.

On all the save the dates I've ever received there's always been an engagement photo on them! We also put an engagement photo on ours as well.

No wrong way to do it, I've just seen STDs with photos more often than not Smiley smile

We did save the dates with an old photo on the back. I originally wasn’t going to do a picture then at the last minute I added one to the back just as a cute touch. I really liked how my turned out

We did a photo magnet. Every save the date I have ever received had a picture, so for me it is totally common.

We put pictures on ours. We're having a sort of DW so our guest list is a little smaller, which made it easier. Also, I've always wanted that so FH was happy to oblige lol.

We did not use a picture on ours. We employed a classic marketing trick better known as "clickbait" to get people to look at the wedding website by using a basic design teaser so if people wanted to see what either of us look like they had to go to the website! We didn't do engagement photos though and neither of us have social media so the website really is the only place to see our pictures. The plan worked.

We didn't because ours weren't done in time, lol and we needed to get them out. If I could go back I would have included a picture, seems more personal to me. Also you get your money's worth from the engagement photos lol. Probably more expensive to add a picture though.

I am not including pics, we are not a picture couple AT ALL! Neither of us likes pictures so it was a no brainer to go with no pics. Although, they are cute and sweet, i don't really see the point. People will just throw them in the trash !!
