Save the Date, pic or no pic?

How many are including pictures of yourselves on your save the dates? Is it common to do so?

This sounds similar to what I was thinking! Where did you get them from?

FH and I took engagement pics and plan to use them on the STDs and website only. We want the invites to be more traditional, with no pics. I think it depends on your wedding style though!

I got them on a website called New and Blue, the quality was awesome and everyone loved them! You can find them on popular websites but if you shop around, you can find some decently cheap ones! This was the only site I found with good prices and the design I liked the most

I don't know if this is "traditional" but we are doing our engagement photos on our Save the Dates and the Invitations will be a stationary suite with no photos

We used one of our engagement pictures for ours. They were postcards with a message on the back & we signed them all so they felt a little more personal.

It is common to use a picture for the STD but we chose not to because we wanted everything in our invitation suite to match in formality. It is not common to use a picture for the invitation and would give off a very casual vibe if you did.

We didn't. We wanted a magnet, and we found a cute one that just had a floral design, and we had our names, the date, and the wedding website on it. The majority of the ones we have gotten have been magnets with pictures, but we didn't want engagement photos so we opted not to.

We are including one photo in our save the dates. I always love adding photos to cards and such. My FH didn't want a photo, but we compromised. A photo on the save the dates and no photos on the invitations. All the save the dates I have gotten lately have all had photos.

I scheduled our engagement photo shoot so that by the time the pictures are ready, I can design our STDs with a few of the photos, and send them out.

We didn't do a photo on our save the dates. Totally not necessary to do so, but if you have photos handy, it's a nice touch.

We didn't get our engagement photos taken until March (and then June - long story lol) for our October wedding. We only got them because it was part of the package and allowed us to get familiar with our photographer.

Our save the dates were just postcards from Vistaprint. Simple, did the trick!

We didn't have a photo on the actual Save the Dates but did include a photo card with each one since a lot of the people invited were out of state and elderly and we knew they weren't going to be able to attend, but they wanted keepsakes so we included the photo cards with all the STD's.

We did magnets wuth pics so that people would actually keep them. I think that pics are a nice touch because people can look at it and remember your big day.

Definately doing a picture of us! I'm doing DIY ones and this will be what they look like (but date changed) I'm just going to print these at the store so really inexpensive! (I used a photo collage app)

We didn't include one on the front since we didn't do engagement photos. We did a small one on the back (ours are postcards) from the proposal

We didn't include a photo on our save the date. No particular reason but we sent them out before even thinking about engagement photos.
