Rose Petals???

If you step on them or the get left on a surface after contact with water...yes, the colors of the petals will grind into carpeting or even the sidewalk and stain.

I think it would be much better to throw a bunch of pebbles in the air. Sure, it might dent a few foreheads, but no staining!

Depending on where you get married I saw a lot of venues that didn't allow rose petals, probably because of the staining factor.

If you get the wrong ones, they will stain everywhere. Even your dress. Be very careful.

I thought it was Cinderella Cowgirl? But if it's just Cinderella, I would throw magical talking mice in the air.

I would check with your venue - a LOT of venues I found have restrictions on what you can and cannot use.

What about ribbon wands? You can use red ribbon ... just make sure the sticks aren't too long so your guest's aren't hitting you & your FH on your way out. And make sure that the ribbon isn't too long either - they may poke an eye. You'r probably guessing how to make them - here you go:

Rose petals are very pretty and a great idea as long as your venue allows it. Also, I would pricecheck it as they might be fairly expensive. Another idea is the ribbon wands. I love them!

Or you can have your guests pelt you with rice & a few petals ... wearing goggles is something to consider unless you want to get your retinas scratched.
