I guess it would look "odd" to me purely because I'm so used to the norm. But I don't think there is anything wrong in the least with doing it!

I'm standing on the right... mainly bc one of my BM has a huge tattoo on her right arm and I don't want it front and center for photos lol. It's a gorgeous piece, but I don't want peoples eyes drawn to it.

I literally have to google the side a bride is "suppose" to stand on every time someone references that.

I really don't think anyone besides great great aunt Ethel will care.

I want to stand on the right as well, but FH is freaked out by that for some reason! I am going to push for it. Also, for completely vain reasons. Ha!

Honestly, I would think you just didn't know how to do it and got it wrong. But seriously who cares?

We do this a lot, partly so the family's can see their child's face.

A friend of mine stood on the right for her wedding because her husband is blind in one eye and he wanted to be able to see her better.

That's what I'm doing! Partially because we have more BM than GM and the right side of the ceremony space has a little more room than the left!

Honestly this is the first time I'm realizing that the bride has been on the left in every wedding I've gone to.... if your guests are as observant as me, you'll be fine :-P

Also, I say do what you want.

I think bride side/groom side are overrated. I probably wouldn't notice.
