Rescheduled wedding date, original wedding date on everything..

Samantha, on March 30, 2020 at 2:24 AM Posted in Planning 0 4
We were supposed to be getting married on April 4th, but with everything going on we were forced to make the difficult decision to postpone. As heartbreaking as it is, we are now getting married in August. For everyone else that is going through this, are you changing the dates on the favors, decor, etc, to make sure you have the new date on everything? Or are you just keeping it cause most likely everyone will understand? Not sure if I want to spend even more money for such a small detail..

Nope. We are not changing the dates on everything. That is pointless and a waste of money. Our rings have our original wedding date engraved in them and we have a small sign with that date too. We're keeping it that way.

Nope, not changing anything. I did order a new hangar for my dress, but I wanted the correct date for those photos. The m&ms however will have the incorrect date, but that's just going to be a reflection of us getting through all of this madness.

Our original date was April 18th, 2020, but now we are getting married December 6th, 2020. The only thing I have the date on was our cake topper and I am going to talk to the art department at my job and see if they could help with changing it or painting it over. At this moment that was the only thing I can think of that I had the date on.
