Rehearsal dinner outfits

I think some people do. I wore white to my bachelorette & all my friends wore black. I wore black to both the shower & rehearsal dinner. You can do whatever you want. r

I'm wearing a white dress but that's only because I bought a white dress to wear to my shower and I will probably never wear the dress again. So I figured I would at least get another use out of it.

I usually tend to spill something on white, so I went with a dress with greens and blues in for the rehearsal dinner. Nobody thought it was odd that I wasn't wearing white. Also wore dresses of black and white for the showers and my bachelorette party.

I am wearing a silver or blue (our colors) dress for my rehearsal dinner with the boots I am wearing for the reception. I would like to be able to wear the dress again and I would not do that with a white one.

Girls just like to do things that feel extra bridal-y around their wedding, and a white dress is part of that.

Wear whatever you want. Mine was champagne with a black lace overlay.

I've never heard of that tradition-- I wore the same gold colored dress I wore to everyone's wedding that summer-- I got a lot of mileage out of it and have hardly worn it since!

It just never occurred to me that a guest shouldn't wear white to the rehearsal. I have almost no white because it always gets dirty! so I doubt I'll wear it then, even my wedding dress terrifies me.

For the Rehersal, I might dress up a little bit, but we might be setting up decor at the reception hall later that night-if not during the day, so I don't think I'll be wearing a dress.

I do plan to dress up for the bachelorette and shower, but I'm not sure about white

I think it's because for a wedding realted event white is a bridal color so why would somebody that is not the bride be the one wearing white? lol

I wore white to my bachelorette party one of the nights we went out and to my bridal shower. For the rehearsal i wore red.

I'm wearing a black and ivory chevron print dress - just to throw a little bit of bridal into it

I wore white to my shower bc I'm the bride and I could...I am wearing gunmetal silver to my shower. (I really like saying that!)

@Jennifer .... LMAO! and I have NO idea what colors to wear to anything... I would like to try and go with white all the way but if it doesn't happen I won't sweat it!

I probably won't wear white. I don't like the way I look in white usually because I'm pale, so I'd rather wear a more flattering color.

I wore peach with a hint of black lace. You can wear whatever you want.

Well our RD is very very casual so I am guessing I will wear shorts or capris and a blouse. It's just wedding party of 6 and us and closest family and out of town guests staying with us. Pizza after rehearsal and then finish any leftover decorating.
