We did "All you need is Love" by the Beatles Almost everyone knows it when they hear it. Also IMO that song always puts a smile on my face.

I like Somewhere Over the Rainbow too and was going to use it - such a sweet song!!

But - like with everything - I'm second guessing myself and wondering if I shouldn't go with a faster tempo song? Smiley smile

Somewhere over the rainbow has a ukelele (sp??) version that FH loves and wants to use. It's more upbeat than the regular version. And there is also "somewhere over the rainbow what a wonderful world" mix that he loves as well.. we're prolly going to use one of them

We're recessing to Girls Aloud's "The Promise". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3qxUqwrNDA Why type of music do you usually listen to? Provided it's not death metal I'm sure you can find something cheery to head off to the reception to.

@hippydog - thank you for the link! What great song ideas!

@Star L. - I like a pretty wide range of mainstream music - like pearl jam, adele, brandi carlile, rihanna, etc.
