Reception Ideas for a Small Town Wedding?

Okay. So as of now (unless I change my mind again) I want to have my wedding in the small-town country church my parents got married in. If it's how I remember it to be still, it will be exactly what I want for the ceremony. However, its fellowship hall is WAY too small for a reception and the only other place I can think to have it is in the absolutely disgusting log cabin behind it. Obviously, I don't want to have it there. Our budget is incredibly minuscule, so we can't afford to travel into the city for the reception, since that will cost us thousands. And our yard, though large enough, has a double-wide trailer sitting on it. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I mean, it's my house... it's just not something I'd prefer. Anyone got any other ideas?

How do you feel about a BBQ? The food is affordable, its fun and it's sure to be a crowd pleaser. You can do it in your yard. As long as you have decor (string lights, tables, chairs) no one will care to notice your house.

Well, the food idea has been taken care of thanks to my absolutely wonderful mother (I swear she's been a blessing). But I never did think of the string lights... that's pretty neat! Hmm... maybe that won't be as bad of an idea as I thought...
