Wedding details
(Pulled from the Wedding Website) "Anson and Sarah met one another in the summer of 2006 during Vacation Bible School at Arlington Baptist Church. They spent three years of their...interesting...friendship at that church, until some unforseen events caused the two to go their separate ways. A whole year would pass before the two would ever speak again. Anson managed to find Sarah on Facebook, and messaged her one night when she was online. What began as a simple "catching-up" on a Facebook message, turned into a two-hour phone conversation. The two began to talk more and more, and they both would hang out together often between all of Sarah's college classes and Anson's work schedule. Finally, Anson found the nerve to ask Sarah to date him, to which she immediately answered, "No". Anson did not let this devastate him though, and continued to pursue her. It was as if nothing else mattered except for winning her heart. On May 11, 2010, Anson's diligence paid off. Sarah said "Yes". Anson left for the military on August 22, 2011. Sarah waited faithfully to see him again. They exchanged many letters and talked whenever they could. Little did Sarah know however, that Anson had plans in the works. The time had come for Anson to graduate from Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base near San Antonio, Texas. Sarah went with his family to see him. On Friday, October 21, 2011, Sarah stood by with Anson's family taking pictures of him after the Parade Ceremony. It wasn't long before Sarah heard Anson telling her, "Put you're camera down" and her camera was taken by his father as she stood there puzzled. Anson took her by the hand and simply said, "I have something to ask you". He had no ring at the time, but he got down on one knee, taking her hand in both of his, and simply asked, "Will you marry me?" Sarah couldn't speak she was so surprised. And sobbing, she nodded "yes" and a round of applause was heard from all around. Apparantly, unknown to the both of them, his Flight was watching the entire thing. Now the two are making plans for the rest of their lives. Between work, school, and the US Air Force, the two stay pretty busy, both waiting anxiously for the day when they pledge their lives to one another before God and their friends and families on Saturday, June 22, 2013."
