I am in the same boat I had to make my shoes......

My future husband and I hunt, our cake is being made by a very close friend. Using tree branches, and cutting some larger tree's to make "like plate size coasters to hold the cup cakes. and the top will be an 11" round cake at the top, with a mini tree stand on one of the branches and our cake topper is bride and groom in hunting gear at the top. What I've seen all ready this thing is beautiful and not even fully put together yet. I have never seen anything like this in my life.. I told her I wanted something that represented us in what we love to do. I said what about a tree stand for cup cakes and the topper all made out of a tree. And she ran with it...

We took our engagement pictures in our tree stands! We have small touches in our wedding that show our love for hunting . Also we will each be in seperate tree stands the morning of the wedding bowhunting !
