Hi ladies, I was just kidding with the FH about being Mrs. Biyatch on the back of the bike for our first ride. He turned around and said, "No, you are then my old lady." Okay, I know it is biker lingo, and yes, he ran upstairs to avoid the pen I just threw at him. However, in the group we ride with...

However, in the group we ride with it is not something ever said.

What are your thoughts on being called "FH's Old Lady"

To me, it is like calling me a C yo U N ext T uesday. They are fighting words. Smiley winking

Oh...I will happily call myself biyatch. Smiley winking

In Biker longo, being someone's "Ol' Lady" means you're not just some cupcake he's riding around. You're his woman, and the one he's really WITH. It really is a term of affection. And yes, he'd be your "Ol' Man" too. lol As long as he calls you "his," is this really something worth being upset over? Smiley winking

Thanks so much everyone. It is very interesting to read everyone's point of view. While it may be a term of endearment to many, and that is cool, since I have 50 breathing down my neck, I won't be embracing the name FH jokingly referred to me, "old lady". He fears the hot glue gun, I am telling you.

Out of respect to his senior years, I also won't be referring to him as my old man. lolol

I agree as I will be 58 when I get married. i'm not an old lady, still young at heart and full of fun and games yet. I think the term old lady is over used and not in complimentary terms these days. An old lady to me is over 100 and sitting in a rocking chair.

I saw a guy on a motorcycle once wearing a shirt that said, "if you can read this, the b***h fell off." I guess you could be glad he doesn't call you that!?

you could throw something (pens, etc.) at him every time he calls you his old lady. my guess is he won't call you that for long? Smiley smile

Haha I have to add that I do actually call my FH 'old man', not really as a nickname, but to tease him.

He forgets how old he actually is alll the time. And, at 23, he's got 6 silver hairs. Its just an on-going tease fest that I take part in. Smiley laugh

    Diamonrose....58 is just getting started.

    Mrs.Lauzon...."ball and chain"...lolo

Amee...lolol...We gave a sticker that says just that to FH's brother's ex girlfriend. She truly was a bitch.

    Sarah...lolol 6 silver hairs? lolol

Hell, if he calls me a "bitch", he would be spot on sometimes. Smiley smile
