Thank you for sharing your story. I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that on your wedding day. Any one of those things would have been more to bear, but you handled it all like a champ! You looked so beautiful and radiant, you would never guess what was happening around you. I wish you all the best in your plans for your vow renewal, and I'm rooting for you as you fight those dirty bastards.

Since so many people brought this up I'll talk about our reviews. Our photographer review was a review we wrote together. He and I are team-writing our reviews. Surprisingly my husband loved her and thought the pictures were perfect and thought I was overreacting. He didn't think those missed pictures were a big deal and basically said that she's a human so she's allowed to mess up. He also said we knew what we were getting into with her being a "recent grad". I wanted to give her a poor review like the previous bride and he wanted to give her all perfect stars. We compromised by writing that review. He said warning people without taking away stars was "enough." He was scared we'd ruin her business for something he thought was our fault (moving too quickly during first look, not making a checklist for her, not getting her attention before the dances, etc.).

Thanks for writing such a detailed and honest BAM. I remember reading your earlier thread about this, and am so glad that you're considering legal action.

@LusineK My hair piece is from Etsy from AngelsCrowns. I was so nervous about the quality but they were responsive, relatively quick shipping, and they packed it nicely! I'm putting it in my shadow box because I adore it and could never resell it.

So sorry this happened. Has anyone considered calling the police? The DOC was recorded making physical threats of violence. It sounds like you could make a case against him as an individual and not just your venue. I'm glad you've contacted a lawyer. I hope your future plans work out.

OP - You look breathtaking and the two of you look so happy. My heart hurts for you because of your wedding experience. I hope you get a full refund.

You looked amazing, your BP looked amazing, DH looked amazing. The best part of the photos is that, without your story and explanation, no one would be any the wiser.

I'm hopeful that venue can step up and treat you with the respect that you deserve. It always KILLS ME when a business can be so cold and act without accountability towards customers who were promised very specific line items and never received them. I would not hesitate to talk shit about them to everyone you meet. If I ever hear about someone getting married in PA, you can bet I'll be sharing your story.

I'm so sorry about your experiences, but I'm happy that you got to have a wedding. You looked absolutely gorgeous, and you and your husband's love for each other shines through the pictures.
