I just postponed my June 27th wedding to August 1st to be safe. Do you think that’s not far out enough?

Honestly, no one has any idea when life with be back to “normal.” I wouldn’t feel comfortable postponing anytime before September.

August is totally fine! This stuff will never be “gone”, but businesses and things will be back open and running and events will be held earlier then August for sure!

I think for the time being its a good date. We are also getting married in August and aren't worried at the moment. I am sorry you had to move your date, but August is a good choice :-)

I think you will be fine. Things may never be the normal we use to have, but I think by then businesses will re-open and we can have larger gatherings again. Who knows what the new normal will be, but hopefully it will be a good normal!

Hi Samantha! I really hope August will be safe for you, but it is smart to be considering your options now just in case. Review your contracts, be communicative with your vendors, and if it makes you feel better to reschedule again to a later date, then do that. In the meantime, maybe share some ideas with other August couples - August 2020 Brides, I need you!
