Pop up weddings, any thoughts?

I just had to google what a pop up wedding was as I've never heard the term before either. It sounds really fun! I think it could definitely be doable. Would you keep it local or plan for a destination? If you're family is cool with surprises, I think this could be a great fun alternative!

I don't have any personal experience, but I saw a pop up wedding on Cheapest Weddings (on Netflix). The bride and groom were under a tight time constraint so being even a few minutes late made the guests and groom super stressed. Just something to consider!

They’re a pretty popular topic on the blog Offbeat Bride if you want to see more examples of brides who did them! They’re definitely not that common or even heard of but you can get a great deal with a photographer that way.

If a pop-up wedding is something that you want, then I think it's a great idea! Obviously a big, traditional wedding isn't for everyone and if you want to do something a little different, you're definitely thinking along the right lines. Do you think you would keep it local, or do a destination pop-up wedding?
