Plus Sized Divas!!!

Size 22 in real life but dress is size 30(which is way too big, so alterations are needed). I was nervous too but once you find the one you're not even going to be thinking about your size. You won't be able to stop thinking about how good that dress made you feel and how excited you are to show FH. That's how I felt and I hope everyone else feels the same. It's nothing to be worried about. You're beautiful no matter your size!

As promised OP Kaitlyn A. I had my fitting today and I am still in love with my dress. FYI...it is a David Tutera gown and that just makes it fabulous. The size was a bit shocking but I got over that. I feel so beautiful in my gown and I know that FH will love it too. Can't wait to marry the love of my life in T - 30 days!!!

Very pretty dresses. For some advice if you want to take it, I found that on me the natural waist looked better. I am pretty short though and I am a size 24 so it could have just been my apple shape.

Fortunately I had a custom made dress to my size but I did buy mine from China. Came out better than expected however. Getting some alterations in the bust area because it isn't proportional to the rest of me. Here's a pic of my investment. Alterations are currently in progress. There is a detachable portion that is a ball gown over the mermaid portion that I want to wear for the ceremony. Good luck.

Mine is a Casablanca size 20 and I'm normally a street size 18/20. When my dress came in it zipped right up and was a little snug in the waist but nothing some shapewear won't fix! I'll just need a hem, cups, and a bustle!

I actually checked out a plus size boutique and didn't really like the selection. I found my dress at a regular boutique and they happened to have a plus size sample that also fit perfectly! Keep an open mind and don't have too many expectations for what you might find. It could be something you're not expecting at all!

Ignore the face 😅😅 this is the first time I tried my dress on in December when I bought it. I had been stalking it online fore over a month and finally got to try it on and I knew it was the one!!! Got all my alterations done too! 😍
