Street size 16/17, this dress was a size 18

My advice is to not settle - even though dress shopping can be frustrating as a plus sized bride, you will find something that makes you feel beautiful!

OP, my ballgown was a size larger than my usual size. We ordered it in a 24. I tried on a 10! Ugh. But there was a decent selection of actual plus size dresses at the boutique I went to. I'll post my runner up too.

And ladies, don't worry about the numbers. They don't matter, and neither do the reasons that the designers screw around with the sizing. Just find the gown that makes you radiate elegance, and this thread is full of radiance.
