Plus size brides: have you ever used sew in bra cups?

Private User, on February 19, 2017 at 10:15 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

So personal question.... I don't want to wear a strapless bra under my dress because it causes unwanted back flab... but I came across sew in bra cups that are supposed to add a little lift. I was just wondering if any plus size girls with bigger chests ever used them? Do they provide some lift? Are there any brands I should search for? And is sizing accurate to your cup size?

Following! I also have this problem. My dream is to find a dress that I can wear a normal bra with.

I have my first fitting tomorrow and I know we discussed it. However seamstress said since I have a corset back I may not need cups. We will be deciding tomorrow.

I had cups sewn in and once your dress is altered, it fits you like a glove. I pulled my boobs in my dress and they stayed up. Smiley smile

A little lift, but no dramatic support. I have a corset inside my dress, but my breasts were still starting to point south during my second fitting yesterday, so the seamstress actually folded up cups and is going to sew them under my breasts to give them a little oomph.

@kimmy what brand did you use? Did you purchase them yourself? I'm looking online because I don't think my seamstress provides them. My dress also has a built in corset but it lays flat in the chest area. I want a little cleavage though
