Hey ladies. Curious what plus sized brides have done or will do to prevent dreaded chub rub on the wedding day? Haha Smiley smile

Vasoline! Works like a charm and has gotten my thunder thighs through two marathons!

    Body Glide. I'm telling.

Vaseline is good, too, but I find it was too greasy. I use it on my feet when I run.

I'd never heard of bandolettes but I just looked them up, and lo and behold, they're pretty! Do they leave elastic marks on your legs though?

And for the body glide people; do you recommend "for her" or the original?

Deodorant. I wear dresses every day of my life. I hate pants. And in the summer every morning I swipe some on my inner thighs and I'm good to go for the whole day.

I've always used the original. The "for her" looks interesting because I think it has extra vitamin E and aloe, but I haven't used it before. The regular blue one works just fine for me.

I also recommend Bandalettes. I wore my pair to a wedding and was dancing and sweating up a storm and had no problems. Also wore them on my wedding day and had no problems.

This discussion is going to change my life! I seriously want to try every product mentioned now because I'm so over chafing in this awful humidity!

I agree with the above comments about both deodorant and baby powder! I think deodorant is the best option, it works really well!

I'm envious of you ladies and your magical thighs! That sounded weird. I'm an EXTREMELY sweaty lady and seriously, deodorant, baby powder or Monistat chafing gel all last about 13 seconds on me before I legit sweat it off. Haha. I keep meaning to buy bandalettes to see if they'd work better. I need to soon! My giant satin ball gown is a damn oven.

I'm wearing panty hose, my shoes are more comfy when wearing them too.

While Thigh Society are more expensive than some of the other options mentioned here, they're super high quality and will last you a long time. Plus they actually wick moisture so you won't be sitting in a pool of your own sweat, because who needs that?

I so needed this thread ladies! I was looking for something as well. I'd prefer a long leg panty, so the Thigh Society looks interesting.
