Okay, so my husband is the best man in our best friend's wedding and will be in a tux. Wedding is in church at 10:30am in MD followed by a 12:00 reception at a really nice restaurant - I think they have some sort of big room for receptions. The bridesmaids are wearing floor-length deep purple/blue dresses, which makes me feel like the whole affair is a bit more formal.. I had gotten dress #1 a while ago knowing that I would be headed to a few fall weddings and was so excited to wear it to this event, but now since the wedding is in the a.m. I'm not sure. It's definitely a satin cocktail dress, but isn't overly shiny..
So.. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the dresses in the pictures! I'm really stumped because I want to look nice next to DH, but I don't want to be over-dressed either.
Thoughts on the material?.. too shiny? too heavy? too light? color? accessories/shoes? And since it might be chilly, cardigans? (For record, I'm 25, 5'4" size 0/2) Thanks soo much!
