Place your vote - i need help deciding

Danielle, on June 20, 2019 at 8:33 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 34

Please help me decide on which reception grand entrance song to use for my bridal party. I am SO TORN!! FH has stated he definitely wants the intro to "Enter Sandman" by Metallica (instrumental only) for us to enter to. So that is a definite, since he hasn't asked for much. The hard part is deciding the wedding party's entrance song. I am meeting with our DJ today, so I have to make a decision. Help me decide!!!

Option 1: "Bring em' Out" by T.I.

Pro- Upbeat and Fun. Con- Unsure if it will mesh well with enter sandman.

Option 2: "Rock of Ages" by Def Leppard

Pro- Meshes well with enter sandman. Con- Unsure if it is upbeat and fun enough.

Heeeellllllppppppppp Meeeeeeeeeeee..........PPPPlllllleeeeeasssseeee!!!Smiley xd

Any other suggestions are also welcomed, lol. Thanks!

I don’t think the two songs have to mesh well. I’d pick the song you like better. It will also kind of be dramatic & cool if your entrance song is very different, especially it being Enter Sandman (love that song btw).

I love both of your options and understand the dilemma! We wanted the classic rock vibe and went with ZZ Top "Sharp Dressed Man" for the bridal party and "Baba O'Riley" from The Who for our entrance - they didn't really "go" together, but they fit!

That said, I think you can't go wrong with Def Leppard in this instance!

Ah... yes! Love of my life is so beautiful, just gave me goosebumps lol. I recently watched the movie Queen & it reminded me of all their amazing songs I loved when I was a little girl (I was listening to music beyond my age haha). I blast Don’t stop me now at home often & sing & dance to it while my FH is just staring at me in disbelief 😆

I'd go with Rock of Ages. I feel like Bring Em Out is sooo hype it might overshadow the instrumental Enter Sandman.

Bring'em Out by T.I. is a FUN HYPE song! That would surely get everyone in the room in the mood to have fun! I do also love Enter Sandman too! I don't think them meshing would make a bit of difference. I am making my playlist diverse because I will have all types of different people at ours. I love all music. Lol
