Photographers: Torn between Two

Hi all! I’ve spoken to 3 photographers via phone & a bunch more via email. Now, I’m torn between two photographers whose pictures I both love.

Both have a similar style and can do the night shot/rimlight photos I want as well as golden hour etc.

Both have shot at my venue before so that’s great though one has more pictures that I would want - I consider this to be minor because I know if there’s shots I want, I tell the photographer & they’ll take them soo I’m not too worried about that

The biggest difference otherwise would be that one is cheaper than the other, & surprisingly the cheaper one comes with 2 photographers instead of just 1.

However, I felt like there was a better vibe with the more expensive photographer.

Price isn’t a concern and I feel like whoever I choose will be great and we’ll have a fun time but I just need opinions/reviews/ways to narrow my choice down.

What has everyone else done in this situation???

Based on what you wrote, the more expensive one doesn't come with a second photographer. To me that was something very important because having two photographers meant more photos. Our photographer was a husband and wife team. In the morning, the wife came with us ladies to take photos and the husband went with the guys to take photos. We took separate bridal party photos before the ceremony in order to say time during cocktail hour. If we had only one photographer that would have been much more difficult. Also, some of my favorite photos were shot by the second photographer rather than the main photographer. Therefore, I would highly recommend having two photographers as the second photographer can get angles may not see or may not logically be able to get.

I looked at both links you included in your post. In my opinion, Dani T's work is WAY better than Heart and Story. So just off quality of work, I would choose Dani T.
That being said, I would have a second photographer. I am not sure which photographer included a second shooter, but I would add one on. We had 2 shooters at our wedding and it worth it!

I like Dani T’s work better. I was in a similar situation between 3 photographers. One of those three we both just vibed with really well. The other two were fantastic as well but for us we wanted someone we were comfortable with. So if price isn’t an issue, I’d say do that. However, having a second shooter is VERY important to me because I want those 2 different views and to look back on what my FH was doing while I was getting ready and to see some moments we may miss or forget. So for me, I’d hands down do 2 photographers.

Both those photographers look great. If price is a concern, go with the less expensive option. If you thought of photo booths, these people did a great job at my cousin's wedding: https://www.newrocphotobooths.com/.
