Photo booth recommendations

Hi there,

I really want a photo booth at my wedding - they are just so fun! There seem to be so many different kinds these days, and I can't decide which one to choose. What did you love/hate about your vendor? I know many now give you a scrapbook at the end with your guests' photo strips and well wishes, are there any other fun add-ons that you've come across?

Thank you!

Doing a DIY Photo Booth. My dad built one for me for my 21st Birthday and we used it for my graduation as well. I didn't know he still had the PVC pipe from it and my mom had made a black curtain for it. All I need is to add some decorations of some sort in the background and figure out what technology I'm going to use....

We were originally going to use a vendor for this however, we decided to DIY it. I have a really good DSLR camera with a remote. We'll send the pics to our guests in the days following the wedding. My Dad is building an awesome backdrop.

DIYing it as well. My fiance is building us a wood wall like the pictures below and we will have a rug, 2 tufted chairs, some props and such, and a mini a frame ladder where we will strap a tablet to for the guests to take the picture as well as our photographer

I went to a bridal show and afterwards they sent a discount to all attendees. I wasn't going to have a photobooth initially because the cost seems too much. Even when paired with my dj package the cost was still too much. So i chose an open air photobooth for about 2-3 hours instead of the full time for a lower price. It includes a photobook of all photos for us to keep. Love that idea. I was also very intrigued with the mirror photobooths. If i didn't have this option a DIY photobooth could be awesome as well. Just create a backdrop and have a location to set it up, you can buy photo booth props from amazon

Open air booths are my fav. They aren't clunky, plus you can see everything that goes on. It makes for a fun experience especially if a bunch of people want to crash the photos.
