Pet Friendly Illinois or Indiana Venue

Day, on April 19, 2019 at 3:58 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 8

Hello! My fiance and I are just browsing around for potential venues for our intimate wedding ceremony and reception. We're looking to host about 60 people and include our beloved pup in the festivities. Our wedding day is 2 years away because we are planning an out-of-state wedding to accommodate our families in the Chicago area. Our families live on the border of Indiana and Illinois so any location that’s less than two hours away would be ideal. We’re trying to keep the total cost under $8000. Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hi there Dayalis!

Have you had a chance to check out the WeddingWire venue directory? You may find a suitable pet-friendly venue there! Under amenities, you can filter by ‘pet-friendly’ and find a ton of venues!

    Pet Friendly Wedding Venues

You can narrow down this selection based on the different cities you are looking at getting married in!

What type of dog do you have? How and you and your FS thinking of incorporating the fur baby in your big day?

Hi! Looks like we are from the same area. Have you checked into Centennial Park in Munster, IN? There are always so many dogs walking around there and they do have outdoor ceremonies. At least you know your pup could be in the ceremony.

You also may want to check out renting the pavilion at Whihala Beach in Whiting, IN. The park is dog-friendly and it's beautiful at night.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve used the pet friendly filter, and I’ve gotten a couple places I love so far. I just want to have a few more options before flying out in a week so my fiancé and I can visit.

We have a 7 year old maltipoo that we adopted a year ago. He’s so lovable and social that we know he would enjoy being around a lot of people. Ideally, we would like our flower girls to walk him down the aisle all suited up. There might also be a first dance between my fiancé, the dog, and I.

I love those ideas! And I bet your guests will, too. We have 2 large, friendly pit bulls that I wish we could include but our venue is not pet-friendly. Good luck in your search. I'm looking forward to see what you decide and check out your pics.

BringFido.Com is a great site to find pet-friendly hotels.
