    Oh no, FI and I are doing matching sets. One is his and one is mine.

    I think if I were gonna stack them then I would go with 2 thinner bands and do one on top and one at the bottom.

    I have a solitaire marquise. My diamond sits up relatively higher so I went with a band of all small diamonds straight across. Perhaps look into the two band thatre connected to go on either side. Or try a jacket band?

    Mine is a 2.5 carat cushion cut diamond my band is the same as the band on my ring -simple and I love it!!!

    Not my ring, but I love chevron style bands with pear cuts. Actually, I just love chevron style bands in general. I'm kinda obsessed with them.

    My ring isn't a Pear,it is an Oval and similar in size, 1.55ct ...due to the custom band on the engagement ring, the wedding band also had to be custom and it is chevron and I love it, it also looks gorgeous on it's own. So maybe because I'm a bit partial to mine, but I agree with @AnActualHuman, I think a chevron band would be beautiful and give it a little more unique shape.
