Peak wedding months

Soon2B#M&M, on July 2, 2017 at 8:23 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 25

Does anyone know what peak season is for wedding months? Looking at ways to save a little bit of cash, and one way is to change our wedding date to an off season peak date..

It depends on the venue and location. I'm in the Chicago suburbs and off season was either Nov-April or Nov-March

Off season is usually Nov-March for most places but it depends on the venue.

It depends on the venue and the location, but here (NJ) it's Nov-March that is off season.

You can always ask about value dates; very often venues will have dates they haven't sold close in....

It depends on the region mainly due to climate. I'm from AZ (fellow hot state!!) - for us peak season was late Feb-early May and late September-November!!

    Off season would be June/July/August!!

December/January I would say are not really peak but not off season either!

Its generally late fall and winter that is off season. Also do week days during off season because it may help you save a few hundred as well.

November to March because it's cold outside. I am getting a discount for getting married in March

Depends largely on location, but spring (April to June) and fall (September to November) tend to be peak season in most places. Add the summer months for cooler/milder climates.

Depends on the location. I'm in Florida & every venue/vendor said Oct-May. The off season is definitely June-August because of the heat. I literally had some vendor/venues say that they will not hold a wedding in those months no matter what.

In California it is generally Nov-Feb or Dec-Feb/March (although some vendors will tell you "California has no off season because it's mild weather all year long") but winter also seems to be the season when a lot of venues do renovations/remodeling so just a heads up. It's obviously still possible to find a great venue but our top 2 picks had planned to undergo construction around our date so we had to find somewhere else. But you can save a bit by having a winter wedding.

Ask the venue. Some charge same price all year long

I got told by a lot of vendors to avoid July/August, so I imagine that is off season for LV.
