Does anyone know what peak season is for wedding months? Looking at ways to save a little bit of cash, and one way is to change our wedding date to an off season peak date..

Like PPs mentioned, it's completely dependent on location. We got married in DE, where off-peak meant you could get winter wedding specials January through March. DH and I live in AZ, though, where I will cut someone having a wedding in May, June, or July because you can't step outside without immediately sweating and turning to a pile of ashes and July, August, and September are considered "monsoon season" and your outdoor wedding will either be flooded or HOT depending on mother nature's mood that day. I'm going to guess that Las Vegas's wedding off season coordinates with summer = death.

I will say that I've attended a summer wedding in AZ where both the ceremony and reception were held indoors in late June. So long as you've got air conditioning at your venue, off-season in the desert is doable and will be pleasant for guests. By the time cocktail hour started, the sun was starting to set, so it was even possible to stand outside in the shade with our drinks and appetizers (though they were being served indoors), so timing things towards the end of the day isn't a bad idea, either, especially if your guests happen to need to walk outside to get from the indoor ceremony space to the indoor reception space.

Where I am, off-season is November-March. But since you're in LV, I bet peak season would be March-June and October-November. You should definitely be able to get off-season discounts if you stay between December and February.

Depends on where you are and the venue. For mine winter months (November-February) and then August was slow month.

Like many others have said, it very much depends on your location and the climate.

I'm also from AZ and our off-peak season is completely opposite from the east coast -- Dec-April is mostly considered on-peak and Jun-Aug is considered very off-peak because it's literally 100-120 degrees outside.
