So I was reading through a few of the posts and I came across Cyndi B.'s post about weight and a few people mentioned having PCOS.
For those ladies that do have PCOS how do you cope? Are you looking to have kids, if you do already was it hard to conceive? What do the doctors tell you? Do you have problems with weight or other health issues like diabetes or anything like that?
The reason I am interested is because I was diagnosed with PCOS in Dec. of 2005. I had just graduated high school. My cycles were so irregular. My doctor prescribed me birth control. I took it for 5 yrs. It did help with my cycles but I wanted my body to do that on its own so I quit the pill. I went to a different OB/GYN and she prescribed me glucophage. It didn't help with my cycle and just made me sick everyday.
She told me to loose weight and that would help, but when I started my exercise routine, I had spotting everyday, I am not sure why, so I kind of gave it up.
Any tips or suggestions? Thanks
