What do you guys suggest for parent gifts? I don't know what we should get my parents and his parents as a thank you gift?

Gift cards for either a restaurant they love or if there remodeling there home then gift cards for Home Depot or lows is a great idea.

I'm struggling with this one too! FH and I were thinking a pen for my dad from my FH that is engraved "Thanks for raising my best friend". I want something really personal to each of our parents.

My mom - an engraved frame, embroidered handkerchief, and a necklace

FMIL - a plaque with a mother in law poem that was handed down to me by my gma, handkerchief, and jewelry

my dad - engraved cuff links and a nice new grilling tool set

FFIL - engraved cuff links and still trying to figure out the last thing.

Husband got both our dads pocket knives with "dad" engraved on them and I got my dad an embroidered handkerchief with a nice message.

I got my mom a gold monogram necklace she had been wanting and his mom drop pearl earrings.

And then we both wrote a letter to each set of parents and gave it to them the day after the wedding.

I found some cute frames with quotes on it i.e. "Out of all the walks this was my favorite " for my dad. My parents spoil the selves so gifts are hard . But they love pictures

I am getting my dad cuff links Etsy - the left will have a photo of me from when I was little (his favorite picture) and the other will say "Father of the Bride" I am still pretty far out so I have no ideas for anyone else yet.

I haven't gotten that far but one thing I know we'll be doing is purchasing additional photo albums (one for each set of parents)

I'm getting my dad a nice (expensive lol) bottle of wine and FH got his dad Red Sox tickets. I got my mom and FMIL each a personalized necklace and embroidered handkerchief.

My parents paid for the majority of the wedding, so spending a lot of them felt strange. There's no way we could ever monetarily pay them back so we went for more sentimental gifts.

I got my mom and antique embroidered handkerchief with lily of the valley which was her mothers favorite flower. And I got my dad a tie to wear with a message sewn on the back.

For his parents we got a wedding album.

Bought my dad and FIL pilsner beer glasses with their initials engraved on them. I also gave my dad a tie bar with a personalized message on the back.

Gave my MIL an embroidered hankerchief from Etsy. MIL and FIL are divorced; we gave them each a 4x6 picture frame with our names and date engraved on it.

Gave my mom a ceramic jewelry box with "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living your baby I'll be" which is a poem that has a lot of meaning to us, and on the inside had a personalized message engraved. Also gave my parents a 8x10 mirrored picture frame with our names and date engraved on it.

Oh man I struggled with this as between both of our split families there are 7 "parents". We decided to write heartfelt letters to each of them to give them on the day. They aren't major "gift" people so thought this would likely mean more even if it is rather inexpensive.

I'm thinking of doing key chains like this. I sorta want to give my FH's step dad a gift card to red lobster since he loves shellfish but I don't want any at the wedding because I'm deathly allergic. It would be funny but I know he would disappointed if he was the only one who didn't get a sappy gift soo I probably won't do it.
