We got my Mom a "tree of life" necklace and it came with a beautiful card talking about extending a branch of our family tree to my (now) husband. She absolutely adores him and I am so lucky for that.

I also got my Mother in law a custom wooden frame with a picture of her and my hubby as a child that said "Thank you for raising the man of my dreams". My mother in law isn't exactly warm and fuzzy and was pretty rough to deal with when it came to wedding planning, but I figured this was the best way to show her I appreciate how hard she worked to raise my husband on her own.

We also got both Moms custom champagne flutes with their titles on them. My Aunt and Grandma are like Mothers to me, so we also got them little sentimental gifts (Jewelry for Grandma and a "love" keychain for my Aunt because we are both Sex and the City fans and I was giving her the love).

I'm very sentimental - but I do think that gifts are most precious when they are significant to the receiver. If that can be overwhelming, maybe a beautiful letter or heartfelt card would be a good option.

I prefer sentimental gifts too. My dad will be the hardest to get for because sometimes he’s just not an emotional person.

I bought my mom a mother of the bride wine glass, a mirror, and a handkerchief since she’s a crybaby. Lol i got my dad special socks to walk me down the aisle. I will also send them special pics from the day once they arrive

I did embroidered handkerchiefs for both sets of parents. LaceyThings on Etsy did them for a great price and didn't charge extra for customization or extra words.

We are treating our moms to hair and makeup in with the bridal party early on our wedding day so we got them the same coffee mugs the bridesmaids got, plus some teabags and snacks from TJs. My future FIL collects vinyl so we got him a rare 45 with a few songs we’ll be playing at the wedding.
