Over or Under: Average Honeymoon Budget?

We were a bit over. Around 5K.

We figured our honeymoon was a once in a lifetime trip.

Haven't booked it yet but for flights and hotels to Ireland, our estimate was $2500 for a week. If we extend that to 10 days, fly first class, and food/drink, I imagine we will be over that estimate.

We're over at $7200. It's for 8 nights at an all-inclusive (one of the top rooms & club level) and includes flights.

We aren't planning our honeymoon until after the wedding, but I sure hope we are way under the average, lol. We don't plan to do anything extravagant as far as out of the country beach honeymoon. It'll be a more low key mountain honeymoon, so I think we can do it.

Where did you end up going, JustKidding? Was it a once in a lifetime trip?

We got our all inclusive trip for just under $3k, but after spending money and excursions we were probably over.

We haven't planned our honeymoon yet, but hoping to stay around $3000.

A trip to Disney for the honeymoon we would be right around that mark, might go over a little just for things we didn't plan on. (Like shopping lol lol lol)

Do you have some ideas of where you want to go, Alicia?

I think we're pretty set on California, Yosemite area. It's just the detail we haven't planned out yet.

Over - with flight, all inclusive resort, activities, and a little bit of spending money ($about $500 for activities we don't want to book ahead of time), we will be coming in at about $7500

Under, we are having a mini moon to Vegas since we are also buying a house. Next year we will go on our formal honeymoon to Europe.
