We are at around 17k but were gifted 10k of that. Splurging because it is our honeymoon! Wouldn't spend that much on a normal trip.

We won’t be going on our honeymoon until 9 months after our wedding. But we plan to go away for 2.5 weeks and have a budget of around 10k

Under now, over later? We got a great deal on a 5 day Caribbean cruise a month after the wedding so our "minimoon" will cost us about 1500 total.
But... we will also be doing a long cruise to Alaska next summer when we both have more time off work which will be closer to 4k.

I'm guessing we will be under but my fiancee is doing all the planning for that so I dont have to think about it. We are going to DIsney where she has been many times before and knows all the money saving tricks (like we are planning it for one of the meal deal time frames not in peak season when things are already discounted). I've never been so I'm super excited and she is excited to show me all her favorite things/places. I just requested dinner at Belle's restaurant so I can get the Grey Stuff.

Punta Cana, DR. I wanted a honeymoon where I could relax and sleep in, otherwise, I would of done Italy as a honeymoon.
I know my husband would of wanted to be up and out every day at 7am seeing sites in Italy not coming back to the hotel until the evening. I wasn't having that as a honeymoon lol.

It will definitely be under! We're hoping to be under 1.5k. We're both very frugal and an elaborate honeymoon just isn't in the books for us.

We didnt' have a budget for our honeymoon we kind of just tied it into our wedding costs, especially once we decided to Elope, the savings we had from not having a wedding really helped pay for our honeymoon. My estimate for our honeymoon was about the $4,500. Now our actual costs are around $3,800. However, we believe we will be coming back with some savings, as I've over budgeted for quite a few items, to ensure we were covered.
