Our wedding is 12 paychecks away!

I know that's a weird way to think about it, but it helps me calm down about the cost. At work I have a calendar with the daily countdown. At home I have one with the weekly count down. I was getting overwhelmed with the cost of everything we got going on, (Home renovations on top of the wedding stuff!!) So I calculated how many paychecks we'll have to pay down the cost before the big day.
172 days = 24 weeks = 12 paychecks.

Does anyone else have weird ways they handle the stress?

I get paid once a month.. so my wedding is also about 13 paychecks away 🤣

My wedding is 4 paychecks away. 8 for my fh. 😱 what an interesting way to think about it lol.

I do that with trips and different life events! It totally helps me stay calm and organised!

My wedding is 3 paychecks away. Thankfully we have everything pretty much paid for.
