Just Said Yes March 2021

Original wedding date August 15 and will now change to January 2021

I know it’s still a few months away, but when this all started I had just booked the venue and church. I had just sent out save the date cards too. They both said to contact them in mid May and talk about possible new dates. Me and my fiancé chose mid January. It is scary because don’t know if a second wave of this virus will hit around the that time. I keep hearing that possibility and just makes me sad. we are looking at downsizing the amount of ppl invited. Also, the clerks office is closed so we can’t even apply to get married lol. My emotions have been up and down and I just hope things will get better. I know hey will, but probably not in the time I want it to. All I can say is this sucks Smiley sad

Your feelings are completely valid! I honestly believe weddings will be okay in fall and in 2021. People can speculate a second wave, but in reality, no one really knows. I think right now it's the hardest as all countries and states are trying to get it under control. This isn't going away and it's something we will have to live with. Depending on your state, things like clerk's offices should open up within the next month or two, so that'll help get things going for you. Keep the hope and faith that your wedding will be everything you've ever imagined! Smiley smile

Hi! I did a forum search for January 2021 threads. I am also in August, thinking about moving to January 2021. I have January 9 as a soft hold, and I specifically chose that date because it's the day after my birthday..... I figured, if I have to postpone, what a way to celebrate than to have a wedding AND a birthday! However, I'm not seeing many people postpone to January, and I know people are also afraid of a 2nd wave.... this is all so hard to plan out, because there's also no guarantee for next summer!
