Oh okay understandable. For our minimony we brought a bottle and my dad ended up going out and buying 3 more for everyone. We only had about 30 guests and that included kids. However for our big wedding in March, it's definitely open bar!

We did an open beer and wine bar. None of our guests were big liquor drinkers, so we didn’t see the need for it. We got married at a vineyard, so we had their wine (which was/is delicious) and a few beer options, both light and craft options.
Like you, we wanted our guests to enjoy themselves, have some drinks, and celebrate with us without having to spend their own money.

We had a full open bar for our reception (wine, beer, champagne, premium liquors, most types of cocktails). We had an open bar for our rehearsal dinner as well, but it was limited in that guests could choose from wine, beer, and champagne.

We’re doing “open bar” but since we’re purchasing the alcohol the selections will be limited 3 beers, 3 white wines, 3 red wines, 3 light liquors & 3 dark liquors

We had a full open bar. It’s a know your crowd thing and our crowd likes to drink. 😊

We provided alcohol but then we said people can bring their own if they want too cause what we had was wine or cognac

It's standard in our area to have an open bar (or at the least, limited bar but open in terms of no cash).

I don't drink, and it was included in our contract, so I didn't pay attention to it in the least.

But.. yeah, it was an open bar.

We’re providing a couple of signature drinks (Malibu & coke for him, fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade for me). Probably buy either a pony keg or some cases of beer. The venue provides soda, tea & water. I’ll probably buy some jugs of coffee from dunkin doughnuts for the coffee drinkers.

View Quoted Comment Ya. No wine. Firefighters (at least his group) are beer drinkers. That’s why we’re probably gonna provide a variety of different beers. My fiancé is kind of a beer snob lol! He also loves Malibu & Coke. I don’t drink at all so the strawberry lemonade, tea & coffee will be perfect.
