I feel trashy drinking out of beer cans.

Maybe someone suggested this already, I don't know, but could you ask the bartender to pour the beer into a glass? If you're worried about appearences I mean.. I prefer bottle all the way. One of my BMs brought two packs of bush and coors light cans and I just cringed..

as for the broken glass potential, you have that with any other drink choice, right? It's not like you have water bottles and juice boxes because you don't trust your guests not to drop the glass.. I'm assuming you'll have glasses for water and probably even toasting flutes? But again, if you're going to have glasses anyway (whether they are clear plastic cups or real glass), I would instruct your bartender to pour the beer into a cup/glass..

Barefoot isn't bad. We've got cheaper wine we sell at work but we sell a lot of barefoot. I'm not a drinker though so I can really only say what we sell.

I was gonna suggest just having the bartender pour the beers into glasses? Problem solved! I personally hate drinking out of cans as I taste the metallic taste and ugh... So I would prefer bottles but I wouldnt really think of it if I was a guest like ew she's serving cans?!

I prefer bottles because I think canned beer has a metallic tinge, but I would have the bartender pour the bottle out into a glass. (Have you guys really been to weddings where you're given plastic cups? I've always been given glasses, and I've never witnessed a problem.) I love Heinekin, Blue Moon, and Stella.
